Irene M. Ziegler

Irene M. Ziegler, 93, of Elkhart died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Greenleaf Health Campus.

She was born May 14, 1928 in Bristol to Ora and Cecile (Bratton) Ziegler.

Irene is survived by her niece, Jean (Dean) Van Sky Hock of Bristol; and three nephews, Dennis (Carolyn) Ziegler, Augusta, Georgia, David (Mary) Ziegler, Bristol and Jerry (Pat) Pickrell, Elkhart.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lois Kennedy, Marvin Ziegler, Carroll Ziegler, Hazel Pickrell and Ilene Mast.

Irene was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Bristol and attended the Fort Wayne School for the Blind when she was younger.

A 10:30 a.m. funeral service will be held, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church, 20943 C.R. 6, Bristol, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Katherine Kolodziejczyc will officiate.

Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Bristol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, designated for the Bell Project.
