Irene Snowden

Irene F. Snowden, 73, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday evening, November 10, 2015, at Hospice House, Elkhart. She was born November 28, 1941 near Wakarusa to Guy and Fannie Marie (Kurtz) Hartman. She is survived by a son, James (Sherry) Snowden of Goshen and a grandson, Parker (Faith) Snowden of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Raymond Hartman. Irene graduated from Jefferson High School in 1959. She worked at LP Corporation, Middlebury, until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of Beulah Missionary Church. Friends may call Friday, November 13, 2015, from 4 until the 7 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Harold Knight, Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice House of Elkhart or Cat Refuge.
