Immanie Joseph Mesidor, 53, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1970, in Saint Louis, Haiti, to Bouloute Mesidor and Juciane Dare.
Immanie is survived by her mother, Juciane Dare of Aux Cayes, Haiti; her husband, Max-Aurel Joseph; a son, Max (Valeriia Degtiareva) Joseph of Goshen; siblings, Arnold Leonard and Francaise, Francoise, Gerard, Claudy, Claudette, Boulouse, Samuel, Antonia, Nadege and Remose Mesidor and nieces and nephews, Rose, Edrand, Wanky, Geraldson, Yvenante, Sterlie, Nancy, Cassandre, Jacqueson, Dayoukah, Shnaida, Nixel, Marvens, Dario, Kerline, Felix, Bernide, Alain and Sendy.
After 27 years as a police officer in Haiti, Immanie retired and moved to Goshen.
Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2024, from 6 to 7 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Saturday, June 22, followed by an 11 a.m., funeral service at the Goshen Haitian Church which meets in the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church building, 909 N. 6th St., Goshen.
