Ilene Mae Mast

Ilene Mae Mast, 83, of Goshen, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home Monday afternoon, January 9, 2012. She was born in Bristol on May 14, 1928 to the late Ora and Cecile (Bratton) Ziegler. She married Donald L. Mast July 28, 1951 in Jefferson Township. He died March 25, 1997. She is survived by a twin sister, Irene M. Ziegler of Goshen; two step-daughters, Charlene (Robert) Sherman, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Donita Johnson of Bristol; and a step-son, Dean L. (Gail) Mast, Cromwell. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Hazel Pickrell, Lois Kennedy and Marvin and Carroll Ziegler. A lifetime resident of the area, Mrs. Mast worked as a secretary for Tex Miller Supplies for 50 years. She also worked for Menno Travel Service as a tour escort. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 12, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2012 funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church, 53013 C.R. 19, Bristol. Pastor Karen Strieteleier will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the Bristol Community Food Pantry.
