Ida E. Christner

Ida E. Christner, 90, of Goshen, died at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2010. She was born in Topeka, Indiana, on January 1, 1920, the late Eddranis and Harriet (Renner) Christner.  She moved to Goshen in 2007 from Topeka where she had lived her whole life. A member of Maple Grove Church, Topeka, Miss Christner worked in sales for her brother, LeRoy at Christner Furniture Store in Topeka. She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Irene and four brothers, Glen, LeRoy, George and Verlo Christner. Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 14, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 15, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
