Hugo Krueger, 78, of Goshen, died of natural causes Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017 at his home.
He was born September 5, 1938 in Bessarabia, Romania to Otto and Pauline (Bartz) Krueger.
On July 6, 1957 he married Madeline Cosentino in Chicago. She preceded him in death July 8, 2014.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Jackson of Radcliff, Kentucky, Geri Krueger of Goshen and Jacqueline (Stuart) Lynch of Nappanee; eight grandchildren, Alesha Marshall, Jessie Jackson, Ashley Young, Amber Griffey, and Alexa, Aayliah, Arianna and Alyssa Lynch; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Alfred (Suzie) Krueger; and a sister, Linda (Alfons) Spiedel, both of Goshen.
A Goshen High School graduate, Hugo served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-61 as a medic. He retired from Rieth-Riley in 2003 where he worked as a soil tester. He also worked as a mechanic. He was a dedicated father and husband.
Hugo attended St. John’s Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling; golfing; boating; and traveling.
Visitation will Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Father John Eze, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka will officiate.
