Howard Lee May

Howard Lee May, 71, of Goshen, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at home.

He was born April 12, 1948 in Lamar County, Alabama to Thorton A. and Abbie (Funderburk) May.

On June 7, 1974 he married Linda S. Fish.

She survives along with a son, David (Jillian) May of Goshen; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Billie Jean Colman and Dolly Henderson, both of Columbus, Mississippi and brother, Jimmy May of Alabama.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan May and siblings, Betty Jo Fields, Nellie Hall and A.B., Labert, Relder and Bobby May.

Mr. May served with the US Army in Vietnam for two years.

A longtime area resident, Mr. May worked as a salesman in the manufactured housing industry.

Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Jason Rohde, Nappanee Missionary Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
