Howard W. Goff

Howard William Goff, 64, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born on August 27, 1962, in Elkhart, Indiana, to the Aubrey R. Goff, Sr. and Vivian A. (Truex) Goff. They preceded him in death along with a brother, Daniel Goff.

Howard is survived by his sisters, Christine Golden of Highlands, Texas, and Katharine (Bryan) Beecham of Goshen; and his brothers, Jesse Goff of Mishawaka, and Aubrey R. (Joy) Goff, Jr. of Shipshewana. He is also survived by four grandchildren Steven, Hailee (Kaden), Zoie and Rya, one great-grandchild, Taurus and 14 nieces and nephews.

Other survivors include his wife, Pauline Goff; a son, Steven Askins; a niece, Erica Tumboeson; a nephew, Joe Adkins, an aunt, Maxine Williams; and uncles, Earl Truex, Kenny Truex, David Truex, Junior Truex & David (Linda) Goff.

Known for his friendly nature, Howard enjoyed working on cars and was always quick to bring a smile to others with his sense of humor.

A private burial will take place at Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen.
