Herman E. Miller

Herman E. Miller, 88, of Goshen, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 12, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare. He was born February 21, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to Olla May (Mitschelen) and Herald E. Miller. He is survived by a daughter, Anita K. Miller; a step-daughter, Rosanne Horn, Union, Michigan; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Sharon) Miller of Elkhart and Jay (Jenny) Miller of Goshen; three nephews, Randy, Stephen and David Miller; and a niece Janice Pearson. He was preceded in death by his parents. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Miller worked for Stiver Funeral Home before being drafted. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1943-46. He later worked as a welder in the RV industry. He enjoyed crossword puzzles. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A private burial was held at West Goshen Cemetery.
