Henry Yoder, 82, of Millersburg, died Saturday, November 6, 2021.
He was born January 1, 1939, in Kokomo to Calvin and Fannie (Mast) Yoder.
On February 18, 1960, he married Jeanette Rater. She died September 9, 2018.
He is survived by five children, Laura (Jerold) Mishler of Shipshewana, Julia (Robert) Kirkdorffer and Lanette (Matthew) Kritzman, both of Millersburg, Fritz (Tisha) Yoder of Woodstock, Georgia and Saundra (Tony) Smoker of Syracuse; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and siblings, Edna (John) Herz, Sarah (Delbert) Chupp, Lester (Judy) Yoder, Ervin Yoder, Calvin (Denise) Yoder, Weldon (Elnora) Yoder, Erma (Gary) Troyer and Fred (Dawn) Yoder.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Chris Yoder, Raymond Yoder, Verna Burkholder and Irene Slabaugh.
An area resident since 1962, Mr. Yoder worked in the research and design department for Sylvan Marine. He also worked at StarCraft in Topeka.
Heaven is getting a wonderful father, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, and brother. He leaves behind a large and grateful family.
A private family service will be held with Rev. Nelson Yoder officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka.
Family and friends will be invited to a July 2, 2022, Celebration of Life service at the Lambright Cabin, Shore Mennonite Church, 7235 100N Shipshewana, from 1 – 4 pm.
Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
