Helen C. Mann, 104, of Goshen, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 25, 2014, at Greencroft Healthcare Goshen. She was born February 15, 1910 in Cheraw, Colorado, to Edwin and Mary (Bennett) Ebersole. On August 19, 1930 in Elkhart, she married Clifford E. Mann. He died May 1, 1994. Surviving are two daughters, Lois Eberly, of Ft. Wayne and Margaret (Wes) Steiner, of Goshen; two daughters-in-law, Jean (Cal) Mann-Graber, of Goshen, and Laurie Hesed, of Newton, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, John and Robert James Mann and Larry Hesed; a great-grandson, Isaac Steiner; two sisters, Ardis Hostetler and Ruth Glick; and two brothers, Clarence and Allen Ebersole. A long time Elkhart area resident, Mrs. Mann was a homemaker and worked for a time at Mennonite Mutual Aid. She was a member at Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen, and past member at Prairie Street Mennonite and Belmont Mennonite Churches, Elkhart. Friends may call Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Meetinghouse at Greencroft Goshen. An 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, memorial service will be held at Waterford Mennonite Church. Pastors Velma Swartz and Neil Amstutz will officiate. A private family burial will take place at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Central Committee or Greencroft Foundation. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
