Helen L. Hile

Helen L. Hile, 93, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born May 17, 1921 in Goshen to Cecil Franklin and Mable Maude (Gardner) Kester. On May 17, 1947 she married Robert Eugene Hile. He died Jan. 13, 1979. Survivors include a son, Brent Robert Hile of Goshen; a daughter-in-law, Priscilla Hile of Millersburg; two grandchildren, Jeff Hile of Elkhart and Jennifer Hile of Millersburg; and three great-grandsons, Jeffery-Michael, Brian and Benjamin Hile. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Hile was a member of LifePoint Church where she was very involved in helping with funeral meals. She had worked at IXL, Rax Restaurant and Everett's Garden Center. Friends may call on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the 12 noon funeral service at LifePoint Church, 1006 S. 16th Street, Goshen. Pastor Troy Scott will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to LifePoint Church.
