Helen Christine “Chris” Hayward, of Goshen, 62, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born April 2, 1953 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Alvin and Betty (Culver) Roskamp.
On October 7, 1973 she married Ron Hayward in San Antonio, Texas.
He survives along with two children, Cynthia (Keith) Johnson of South Bend and Shawn (Lisa) Hayward of Amble, Michigan; six grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Ossewaarde and Sandy Brandow; and seven brothers, Craig, Brian, Mike, David and Bobby Roskamp and Marty and Dennis Howland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron Roskamp.
In accordance with Chris’ wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
A celebration of life service will take place in Michigan at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
