Helen Elizabeth Freeman

Helen Elizabeth Freeman, 91, of Goshen, formerly of Temperance, Michigan, died at 3:56 am, Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born March 6, 1918 in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada to Frank and Rose (Boli) Halasz. She married Donald Lawrence Freeman on March 27,1948. He died July 1984. Helen is survived by one son, James C. (Pamela) Freeman of Elkhart; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and two brothers, John and Louis Halasz. She was a homemaker and had also worked for 15 years as a floral designer in Temperance. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen and of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Temperance. There will be no public visitation or services. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009,  at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, Michigan.
