Helen M. Fidler

Helen M. Fidler, 84, of Union, Michigan, died early Friday morning, June 13, 2008, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing in Goshen. She was born March 27, 1924, in Elkhart, to Henry and Mae (Moore) Johnson.  She married Russell Ray Fidler on April 2, 1943.  He died October 6, 1982. A homemaker, Mrs. Fidler was a member of the Cass County Conservation Club; the DAV and the American Legion in Bristol. She is survived by a son, James (Vicki) Fidler of Bristol; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell and a son, Gregory Fidler in February 1966. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at the funeral home. An 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2008, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Tom Thews of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen Memorial contributions may be made to Cass County Conservation Club.
