Hebe Cecil Lemarr

Hebe Cecil Lemarr, 88, of Goshen, died Friday, March 7, 2025 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1936 in White Oak, Tennessee to Hebe Virgil and Maude (Carr) Lemarr.

On February 7, 1965 he married Janet Lemarr in Goshen. She died August 27, 2017.

He is survived by five children, Jackie (Dale) Farthing, Carla Munoz, Joan (Emiliano Sr.) Carranza, Jeremy R. Lemarr and Dezirae M. Lemarr, all of Goshen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Jeremy R. Lemarr; and three brothers.

He was a wonderful dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa, great-grandfather-in-law, and friend. He was a great man all the way around, he liked to play cards, go fishing, travel, go to auctions and garage sales. He liked to work on cars. He was awesome to sit and talk to. He was very helpful and full of wisdom. He always gave good and honest advice. His grandkids & great-grandkids called him the "cookie man".

Hebe loved to get out in the community. He loved being from Tennessee and talked a lot about it. He had many friends, but his family was the most important.

According to Hebe’s wishes his body will be cremated.

A celebration of life will take place Monday, March 17 at 3:30 p.m. at the DAV, Goshen

Memorial contributions may be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to offset the cost of funeral services.
