Hazel Lillian Thompson

Hazel L. Thompson, 79, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born January 22, 1936 in Hayward, Wisconsin to William H. and Julia A. (Gordon Cloud) Bressette. On September 11, 1953 she married Rufus B. Thompson. He died October 23, 2007. Survivors include two sons, Steven R. Thompson of Fort Madison, Iowa and David R. Thompson of Goshen; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three siblings, Helen (Paul) Hessey of Victorville, California and Delores Martin and Michael (Linda) Bressette, both of Odanah, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter-in-law and five siblings. Friends may call Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Additional visitation and funeral service will be held at Bad River Community Center, 72772 Elm St., Ashland, Wisconsin. Burial will follow at Odanah Cemetery, Odanah, Wisconsin on Monday, February 9, 2015. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
