Harvey Stouder, 98, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died early Wednesday morning, October 28, 2009, at his home. He had been in failing health the past two months. He was born in Goshen on May 8, 1911, to the late Harvey and LuElla B. (Walters) Stouder. He married Marie Krause in Goshen on June 23, 1950. She survives in Tulsa. Also surviving are a daughter, Patty (William) Hall of Walnut Creek, California; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ted, Raymond, LaMar and Paul A. Stouder. A longtime Goshen resident, Mr. Stouder moved to Tulsa in 1989. He, along with his wife, did landscaping work and owned Stouder Landscaping. He was a World War II veteran and a member of VFW Post #985. There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A graveside service with military honors will start at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009, at West Goshen Cemetery. Licensed minister Tim Yoder will officiate.
