Harry Floyd Riley, Jr.

Harry Floyd Riley, Jr., 75, of Goshen, died at his home Saturday morning, August 5, 2006.   He was born January 27, 1931, in Bloomingdale, Indiana, to Harry Floyd Riley, Sr. and May Belle (Cory) Riley.  He married Betty Griffin on December 21, 1952, in Rennselaer, Indiana.  She survives.   A resident of the area since 1970, Mr. Riley worked in Quality Control for Skyline.  He had also worked for Alcoa in Lafayette, Indiana and was a part-time employee for Park Home Medical Equipment and in grounds crew for the Elkhart County 4-H Fair.   Mr. Riley, a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wakarusa, served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He loved to play golf and was a past member of Black Squirrel Golf Course.   He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Cynthia S. (Mike) Ritter of Fremont, Indiana, and Karen J. (Craig Sears and Deborah K. (Mark) South, both of Elkhart, Indiana.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lafern Sandilands of Big Sandy, Texas, Juanita (Charlie) Ford of Lafayette, Indiana, and Mary (Robert) Walton on Fort Pierce, Florida.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 8 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2006, funeral service will be held at the Bible Baptist Church in Wakarusa, Indiana.  Pastor David Harper and Visitation Pastor Brooks Henry of the Bible Baptist Church will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Baptist Church.
