Harrison Helton

Harrison Helton, 81, of Goshen passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Goshen Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

He was born November 1, 1940 in Saltville, Virginia to Grover and Flora (Bordwine) Helton.

Survivors include three children, Gonda (Rocky) Gilbert, Melissa Helton, and Nathan (Angie) Helton, all of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; companion, Frances Mudd; sister, Betty Anderson, Goshen; many nieces and nephews, and especially loved, “Alley” the cat.

Along with his parents, Harrison was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia and Mary Sue; and nine brothers, Gue, Bill, Jack, Glenn, Carl, Jim, Clarence, Don and Walt.

Mr. Helton worked for many years in the area modular home industry.

Visitation will begin Monday, September 12, 2022 at 9 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
