Harold Dean Weldy

Harold Dean Weldy, 93, of Goshen, died Monday, February 10, 2025 at Greencroft Healthcare.

He was born February 11, 1931 in Milford to Floyd and Marian (Schrock) Weldy.

He is survived by his wife, Arla Weldy; a daughter, Dianna Weldy of Goshen; a son, Todd (Heidi) Weldy of Elkhart; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Weldy of Goshen; three grandchildren, Andrea (Courtney) Miller, Austin Shrock and Brian Weldy; two great-great-grandchildren, Aiden and Audrey Miller; and two brothers, Dale (Mary Lou) Weldy of Kentucky, and Wade (Janice) Weldy of Elkhart.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma (Voigt) Weldy; a daughter, Lisa Shrock; a son in law, LaMar Shrock; a son, Scott E. Weldy; a brother; Roy M. Weldy; two sisters, Doris Walters and Dorothy Weldy.

Harold loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 9 until the10 a.m. funeral service at the Gathering Place at Greencroft’s Evergreen Place. Greencroft chaplain Greg Grotbeck will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
