Harold C. Miller, 70, of Goshen, died at his home early Monday morning, June 3, 2013. He was born March 10, 1943 in Leo to Clyde and Bertha (Leichty) Miller. He married Carol Moyer, June 13, 1970 in Harleysville, Pennsylvania. She survives along with a daughter, Tara Worley and a son, Brad (Nicole) Miller, both of Elkhart; four grandchildren; a sister, Diane (Vernon) Heacock of Goshen; and three brothers, Forrest (Anne) Miller and Don (Sylvia) Miller, both of Goshen and Clifford Miller of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Gerald, who died at birth. Mr. Miller graduated in 1961 from Leo High School and in 1970 from Eastern Mennonite University with a Bachelor of Arts and from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary with an Master of Divinity. A self-employed carpenter, he served as a pastor at Kingman Mennonite Church, Kansas, and later worked as a trim carpenter for Town and Country Builders until retiring. A member of Maple City Chapel, he enjoyed hunting and fishing; getting together with family; studying the Bible and encouraging others in their faith. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 6, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m., funeral service on Friday, June 7, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Miller, Maple City Chapel, and brother, Pastor Cliff Miller, will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
