Hans J. Green

Hans J. Green, 76, of Elkhart died Friday, November 25, 2022 in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital after suffering a stroke.

He was born March 17, 1946 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Bertel and Hilda Green.

On October 12, 1987 he married Juliet Gonsalves who survives him in Elkhart. Additional survivors include two sisters, Inger and Anette of Copenhagen.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jorger Green.

Hans served as a team leader for the United Nations, serving in many countries. He was an avid reader, always gathering new books to stimulate his curious mind.

Hans enjoyed aquatic life, whether in small or large aquariums, as well as walking and visiting with neighbors.

Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3, funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Tyler officiating.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
