Gregory Lamar Roose

Gregory L. Roose, 68, of Goshen, died March 19, 2019, at his home.

He was born November 15, 1950 in Goshen to Robert L. and Bernadien I. (Hamilton) Roose.

He is survived by two sisters, Beth (Frank) Searer of Mosinee, Wisconsin and Peggy Roose Emmons of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Doug (Loretta) Roose of Richmond; nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Johnothon and Carl Jones, Melissa Wolfe, Grant and Franklin Searer, Stephanie Ann, Debra and Michelle Roose, Jacob Blanco and Brent, Jerica, Jacob and Angela.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Roose.

Greg owned and operated Parkway Inn, Elkhart for many years.  He also managed the Goshen Holiday Inn and worked for the Elkhart County Sherriff work release.  Currently he was managing the Goshen VFW.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Goshen Police Department for the Shop with a Cop Program.
