Gregory "Gregg" Ray Baker

Gregory "Gregg" Ray Baker, 65, of Creedmoor, North Carolina, passed away February 15, 2014 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, N.C. He was born March 1, 1948 in Goshen to Raymond and Orpha (Kauffman) Baker. He was of the Baptist faith and retired as a computer programmer with IBM. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gregg served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He is survived by a special niece and nephew, Brooke and Tommy Francescon, Fishers; an aunt, Margaret Conrad, Goshen; cousins, Margo (Richard) Barfell, Tom (Nancy) Conrad, Don (Diane) Conrad, Diane (Ken) Brougham, Anita (Leon) Hutson, Marilyn (Fernando) Castillo and Don Baker; goddaughter, Wendy Reeder Boggs and friends, Nancy and Tom Francescon, Bill and Delores Hoover and Karen (Tom Ortel) Baker. Funeral services were conducted February 19, 2014, in Creedmoor. Friends may visit with family and share memories at a Celebration of Life Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
