Gregory A Keim, 68, of Goshen, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

He was born October 12,1956 in Goshen to Daniel J Keim and Bette M (Kaut) Keim.

He is survived by a brother, Steve Keim of Waynesboro, Virginia; two nieces, Lori (Troy) Grimm of Churchville, Virginia and Michelle (Kendall) Grubb of Mint Springs, Virginia; a nephew, Steve (Melissa) Keim of Prairieville, Louisiana; 7 Great nieces and nephews; and 2 great-great Nieces.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Louise Keim.

A 1975 Goshen High School graduate, Gregory attended Michiana College of Commerce in South Bend where he obtained his associates degree in 1977.

During his working career, he was a Sports Editor at the Goshen News from March 1999 until his retirement in September 2020. He spent a great deal of time covering all high school sports and local players as well as Notre Dame sporting events.

Greg was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Visitation will take place Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, January 28 from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastors Bob Vale and Ron Russel will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
