Grace E. Master

Grace E. Master, 89, of Goshen, died early Friday morning, September 21, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born November 8, 1922 in Marcellus, Michigan to William Eggleston and Ethel (Boyer) Slessman. She married Lester LeRoy Master December 15, 1939 in Elkhart. He died April 3, 2002. She is survived by six daughters, Betty Ann (Arden) Mabie of Osceola, and Pamela (Kenneth) Kauffman, Joyce (Roger) Kauffman, Rita (Roger) Hershberger, Susan (George) Perez and Rhonda (Loren) Bixler, all of Goshen; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Velma (Wayne) Yoder and Helen Leighton, both of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Paul Master; three sisters, Ruth Taylor, Alice Fry and Dorothy VanHook; and eight brothers, Richard, Roland, Wayne, Edward, Roscoe, Howard, Ralph and Earl Eggleston. A Goshen resident since 1950, Mrs. Master was a member of LifePoint Church, Goshen. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 24, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 3012, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Troy Scott, LifePoint Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
