Grace E. Kliever, 84, of Elkhart died Friday, March 30, 2018, at Riverside Village where she had resided the past five years.
She was born August 9, 1933 in Alba, Missouri to Ralph and Martha Smith.
On August, 19, 1951 she married David E. Stutzman. He died May 1, 1975. She later married LeRoy H. Kliever on July 29, 1978 in Dallas, Oregon. He died December 1, 2014.
Survivors include six sons, Dennis (Ronda) Stutzman of Pennsylvania, Gary (Joann) Stutzman of Corvallis, Oregon, Ernest (Sue) Stutzman of Houston, Texas, Lester (Diana) Stutzman of Goshen, Marvin (Sherri) Stutzman of Elkhart, and Martin (Carol) Stutzman of Charlottesville, Virginia; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nadine Page and Marietta (Harold) Geizer, both of Missouri.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Shoemaker, Thelma Marner, Milford Smith, and Jewel Evers.
She farmed in Sheridan, Oregon prior to owning and operating travel agencies.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a 3 p.m. funeral service will be conducted. Dr. Robert Morris, Grace’s brother-in-law, will officiate.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place following the service. Burial will take place in Missouri at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Alzheimer’s unit at Riverside Village, Elkhart.
