Gloridene A. Borzeniatow Adams, 69, of Goshen, died at her home, Friday evening, January 12, 2007. She had been ill since May 2006. She was born June 19, 1937, in Goshen, to Paul H. and Ethel A. (Stauffer) Frye. A lifelong resident of Goshen, Mrs. Adams graduated from Goshen High School in 1955. She worked 15 years for Johnson Controls, Holiday Rambler, Starcraft and Goshen Rubber, retiring from Goshen Rubber in 2000. She had bowled for a number of years on teams in Goshen. She loved to read novels, and historical and documentary works. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and traveling. She is survived by five daughters, Nina (Earl) Ottman and Corrina (Robert) Ottman, Jr., both of Elkhart, Rose (Howie) Ottman, Jr., of Edwardsburg, Michigan, and twin daughters, Linda (Robert) Adkins and Lynn Adams, both of Goshen; twin sons, Nick (Lori) Borzeniatow, Jr. and Dick Borzeniatow, both of Goshen; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Linda Keck of New Paris and Delora Spurlock of Goshen; and a brother, Paul (Mary) Frye, Jr., of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ethel Frye and step-father, Hershell Bloss. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 15, and 10 – 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Ed Ritchie of the Elkhart County Community Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkhart County Cancer Society.
