Gloria Rhude

Gloria J. Rhude, 69, of New Paris, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at home after a short illness.

She was born February 3, 1950 in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Survivors include her companion, Dean Bleile; two children given up for adoption, Keith and Andrea Bower; a sister, Brenda (Randy) Penland of Goshen and brothers, Tracy (Sheryl) Adkins of Goshen and Jack Adkins of Elkhart.

Along with her parents, Dan and Gladys (Thacker) Adkins, she was preceded in death by brothers, William, Clyde, Larry, Cordell and Ernest Adkins and sisters, Norma Hillard, Noma Harris and Jean Simpson.

Gloria worked as a final finish inspector for Homecrest.

Family and friends will meet for a graveside service 9 a.m., Monday July 22, 2019, at Violett Cemetery.  Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.
