Glenna J. Adamson

Glenna J. Adamson, 81, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Esther’s Hospice House under the care of Center for Hospice, Elkhart, after a long battle with bronchiectasis.

She was born October 27, 1942, in The Dalles, Oregon, to E. Glenn and June (Mitchell) Snook.

She married Arden K. Adamson on July 13, 1963, in Ferndale, MI. They were blessed with nearly 62 years of marriage.

Glenna is survived by her husband, Arden; daughter, Pamela (Gary) Kyle of Middlebury, IN; a son, David (Angela) Adamson of Lee’s Summit, MO; and granddaughters Lindsay and Natalie Kyle of Ann Arbor, MI.

Four siblings also survive Glenna:  Ernest (Janet) Snook of Seattle, WA; Donna (Jerry) Sintay of Statesville, NC; David (Susan) Snook of Asheville, NC; and Twyla (Robert) Nemeth of Potterville, MI.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brent Adamson, and a brother, Edwin Snook.

Glenna was dearly loved as a wife, mother and grandmother. She ministered to many through her gifts of vocal and piano music, and her gracious way of serving others in Jesus’ name. She loved flowers and made everything she touched more beautiful.

According to her wishes, a memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 27th, with visitation at noon, and service at 1:00 PM at Calvary Assembly of God, 1010 E. Mishawaka Rd, Elkhart, IN.  Interment will be on Saturday, June 29th, at 10:00 AM at Spencer Lake Memorial Park in Waupaca, WI.
