Glenn E. Stark, 95, formerly of Elkhart, most recently of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in the home of his granddaughter, Megan under her care and Adoration Hospice, surround by family, August 28, 2025.
Glenn was born May 21, 1930 in Goshen, Indiana to Roy and Mable (Gay) Stark.
He married Sally Patton Doan on October 3, 1959.
Glenn started working at the age of 12 delivering groceries in Goshen. He learned to be a meat cutter and continued that for almost 50 years. When he retired as a meat cutter, he went to work for Countywide Wheel Horse until he retired in 2005 to take care of his ailing wife Sally.
A U.S. Army veteran, Glenn proudly served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his sons, Jon Stark of Middlebury and Michael (Lynnette) Stark of Elkhart; daughters, Judith (Levi) Vail of Elkhart and Jayne (Steve) McCart of Clover, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents and beloved wife Sally, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Stark; brothers, Harold and Robert Stark; and sisters Evelyn and Elizabeth.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Violett Cemetery, with military honors.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
