Glen C. Veach

Glen C. Veach Glen C. Veach, 94, of Sebring, Florida, died Friday morning, September 29, 2006, at his home.  He had been ill several years with Alzheimers and had been under hospice care since December.   He was born in Logansport, Indiana, on March 10, 1912, to Fred and Cora (Oberlin) Veach.   He married Inez Cripe on October 30, 1932 in Goshen.  She died July 19, 1981.   Mr. Veach retired in 1975 as a supervisor from Goshen Rubber and moved to Florida from Goshen in 1977.  He was a member of the South Side Baptist Church in Sebring.  He was an avid golfer.   He is survived by a daughter, R. Diane Isley of Sebring; a son, Thomas (Carolyn) Veach of Goshen; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  He is also survived by a sister, Thelma Haubert of Tampa, Florida.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez; a daughter, Ronda Veach; a son, Charles Keith Veach; and two brothers, Harold and Robert Veach.   Friends will be received 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 5 at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2006, service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Dr. Daniel Gelatt will officiate.   Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Sebring, Florida.
