Glen L. Jones

Glen L. Jones, 84, of Goshen, died early Thursday morning, April 3, 2014, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital. He was born September 7, 1929 in Carrollton, Ohio, to Paul and Martha (Stewart) Jones. On March 4, 1951 he married Mabel S. Eberly in Orville, Ohio. She survives along with a daughter, Phyllis (Jim) Kirkdorffer of Milford; a son, Randy L. (Michele) Jones of Bristol; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Jonas. Mr. Jones was a dedicated minister serving many churches in the Church of the Brethren faith. He was most recently a member of Rock Run Church of the Brethren. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Rock Run Church of the Brethren, 64985 C.R. 33, Goshen. Rev. Tim Waits will officiate. Cremation took place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Burial will follow at Rock Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Habitat for Humanity or Heifer Project International.
