Gladys J. Hodge

Gladys J. Hodge, 92, of Goshen, passed away Friday, July 31, 2021 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born September 5, 1928 in Jackson County, Arkansas to George and Katie May (McGinnis) Garland.

She is survived by two daughters, Angella (Jimmy) Holeman of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas and Cathie Miller of Goshen; a son, Wayne (Helen) Hodge of Goshen; four grandchildren, Kaite Mae (Tony) Wiggington of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, Joy (Scott) West of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Betty Troyer and Allen (Heather) Hodge both of Goshen; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several stepchildren and step-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by: two husbands, Rufus Hodge and Homer Hodge; a son, Myles Hodge; a grandson, Michael A. Hodge and siblings, Elizabeth Jones, Ralph Garland, Ellen Hodge, Lindsay and Filmore Garland.

Gladys was a seamstress and worked at Wieland Design for 27 years. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a woman full of sass, a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed time spent with family, sports and walks.

A celebration of life will take place, Thursday, August 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial of cremains will take place at a later time in Arkansas.
