Gladys Marie (Troyer) Christner, 77, of LaGrange and formerly of Topeka, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor, LaGrange. She loved Jesus and her family more than anything.
She was born August 6, 1939 in Goshen to Ezra and Mary (Miller) Troyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Christner; a son, Gary; a grandson, Mitchell Gary Dean; her parents; and brothers, Omer, Melvin and Elmer Troyer.
A lifetime member of Maple Grove Church, Gladys lived in Topeka most of her life. She loved spending time with her family, friends and church family. You rarely saw Gladys without a smile on her face and encouraging words for you. She enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to books on tape and music. She loved to sing while she had the breath to do so.
Her greatest wish was for everyone to know and love Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She was anticipating seeing Jesus face to face.
