Gertrude S. Mcghaee

Gertrude S. McGhaee, 90, of Goshen and formerly of Galveston, Texas, died Monday morning, March 26, 2007, at the Courtyard Healthcare Center, after a brief illness.   She was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Morris and Elizabeth Noble, on April 5, 1916.   A graduate of Shreveport High School in Louisiana, Ms. McGhaee worked as a nurse aid and did volunteer work for the Salvation Army in Elkhart.   She is survived by a daughter, Mary E. Balser of Middlebury; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Morris Noble Wells of Texas.   There will be no services.
