Geraldine A. Wiederman

Geraldine A. Wiederman, 84, of Goshen, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born May 2, 1938, in Arlington, South Dakota, to Hilmer and Elvina (Bauman) Pederson.

On November 19, 1958, she married Charles A. Wiederman in Arlington, South Dakota.  He died September 16, 2009.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth (Ken) Bontrager of Goshen; a son, Charles (Christine) Wiederman of Elkhart; a stepdaughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Longenbaugh of Middlebury; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorna (Dennis) Peterson of Eureka, California, and Bonnie (Ervin) Mullet of Goshen and a brother, Loren Pederson of The Dells, Oregon.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Steven Wiederman; a grandson, Derek Hicks and a brother, LeRoy Pederson.

An area resident since 1956, Geri was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Goshen.  She worked for Johnson Controls and Western Rubber for nine years in the payroll department.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Goshen.  Pastor Andrew Wollman will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
