Geraldine E. Mcclain

Geraldine E. McClain, 99, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky and formerly of Goshen, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Louisville.

She was born January 24, 1923 in Goshen, to Orlie and Esther (Yoder) Gibson.

On June 18, 1943 she married Sheldon M. McClain in Goshen.  He died June 26, 2018.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosalie McClain Macaluso of Fallbrook, California; a son, Stephen (Marilyn) McClain of Pewee Valley, Kentucky; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne Hull; a brother, Raymond Gibson and a sister, Eilene Neichaus.

A longtime area resident, Mrs. McClain worked in sales for Coachmen Industries.  She was formerly a member of First Mennonite Church of Middlebury.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 12, noon, until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.

Memorial donations may be given to First Mennonite Church of Middlebury.
