Geraldine M. Logan

Geraldine M. Logan, 87, of Middlebury passed away Tuesday evening, September 4, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital after a four year battle with cancer. Mrs. Logan was born on July 17, 1925 in Elkhart to Lewis and Mamie Clausen. She married John W. Logan on November 9, 1947 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1999. A lifelong resident of Elkhart County, Mrs. Logan graduated from Elkhart High School in 1942. She attended Middlebury Church of the Brethren where she was involved in the Widows Club. She also belonged to TOPS Middlebury Chapter. Mrs. Logan enjoyed cross stitching and puzzles of all kinds. She was a great caregiver, serving both family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Patricia A. (David) Kiel of Bensenville, Illinois; a son, Warren L. (Joan) Logan of Middlebury; a granddaughter, Amanda Joynt; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Patrick Wolgamood; two sisters, Dolores Keyser and Helen Sevison; and two step-brothers, Rosco and Robert Wolgamood. Friends may call from 4-8 pm, Friday, September 7, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m. Saturday, funeral Service will be held. Pastor Rich Troyer of Middlebury Church of the Brethren will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial Contributions may be made to Middlebury Church of the Brethren or Ribbon of Hope.
