Geraldine Joan Jacobs

Geraldine Joan Jacobs, 82, of Goshen, died Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2013 at Greencroft Goshen Health Care where she had been the last three years. She was born October 15, 1930 in Lincoln Park, Michigan, to Charles and Fern (Markham) Whitehead. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Bisig of Bristol; a son, James Michael (Barbara) Jacobs of Apple Valley, California; three grandchildren, Brice, Destry and Alec; two great-granddaughters, Riley and Samantha; a sister, Ruth (Dan) West of Goshen; and two brothers, Phillip (Marlene) and Jan (Gail) Whitehead, both of Goshen. A Goshen resident since 1931, Gerry attended Goshen High School and worked at CTS for 38 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Goshen. A private graveside service will be held at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
