Geraldine G. Donahoe

Geraldine “Gerry” G. Donahoe, 77, of Goshen, died Monday morning, September 6, 2010, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born December 24, 1932, in Little Falls, New York, to the late Gerald and Mary (Kuehnle) Tibbitts.  She married Bradley E. Donahoe on April 14, 1956.  He died September 8, 2000. A Goshen resident since 1970, Mrs. Donahoe worked in nursing at Greencroft from 1987 -1997.  She had also worked at Carriage Manor, Goshen; Brethren Village, Neffsville, Pa.; and Clinical Institute Faxton Hospital, Utica, N.Y. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen, where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Twig Benders Sunday School Class.  She was the 1981 past president of Tri Kappa. She is survived by daughter, Nancy (Roger) Shipley of Goshen; two sons, Neil (Lori) Donahoe of Milford, and James (Susan) Donahoe of Goshen; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call 3-5 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and 9-10 a.m., Thursday at the church. A 10 a.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at First United Methodist Church, Goshen, with Pastoral Assistant Pamela Kling officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery,Goshen. Memorials may be given to National Parkinson’s Foundation or American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
