George C. Trenshaw

George C. Trenshaw, 75, of Goshen died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born to John and Helen (Gergely) Trenshaw on July 18, 1943 in Goshen.

On November 15, 1969, he married Linda Mills.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tracie (Mark) Gannon, Middlebury; a son, Troy (Misty) Trenshaw, Goshen; five granddaughters and one grandson; three sisters, Theresa Venosky, Marihelen (Marvin) Roth, and Marty (friend Bob) Barnett; and a brother, Albert Trenshaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rose Anna Worth; and brothers, John and Steve Trenshaw.

George was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was discharged in 1965.  He retired in 2005 from Johnson Controls where he was a journeyman tool and die maker.  He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Goshen DAV, American Legion, VFW, and Maplecrest Country Club.  He was a Ham Radio operator #KD9UQ.

Friends may call at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, July 30.

Burial with military honors will follow at Violett Cemetery.
