George H. Sprague, 79 had long looked forward to going to heaven, and received his ultimate healing on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Majestic Care of Goshen.
He was born October 13, 1945 in Kendallville to James E. and Marie (Poppy) Sprague. They preceded him in death.
On April 7, 1972 he married Sue E. Yoder in New Paris.
His wife Sue of Milford survives along with their children, Melanie Webb of Warsaw, Hollie (Mike) Tomko and Nathan (Vicki) Sprague both of Goshen, Beth (Terry) Taylor of New Paris, Amber (Mike) Miller of Three Rivers, Michigan, Lori (Adam) Stutzman of Goshen and Todd (Michele) Sprague of Fort Wayne; 20 grandchildren; a sister, Jane Hursey of Ligonier; and a brother, Ed (Connie) Sprague of Albion, as well as, 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
George was a graduate of Ligioner High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen and Monday, June 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m. prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service also at the funeral home. Pastors Marcus Miller, Terrill Yoder and Thad Lechlitner will officiate.
Burial will follow at Baintertown Cemetery, New Paris.
