George Carl Sheffer

George Carl Sheffer, 52, of Goshen, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.  Mr. Sheffer was in Kingsport making a delivery for Kopf Trucking Company when he became ill and was taken to the hospital. He was born in Goshen, Indiana, on August 8, 1955, to Jack and Delores (Mock) Bole.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and playing his guitar. He is survived by three daughters, Mandi Sheffer, Kari Sheffer and Angela Sheffer, all of Elkhart; a son, Shaun Sheffer of Elkhart;  twin granddaughters, Madisen and Hali Sheffer; a sister, Tom (Debbie) Maple of Elkhart; and a brother, Jeff (Angie) Bole of Mottville, Michigan. A memorial service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2008.  Rev. Gayle Faunce will officiate. Burial will be held in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to the family.
