Geoffrey Clay Haas, 31, of New Paris, died Thursday morning, June 5, 2008, in Stroh, Indiana. He was born July 8, 1976 in Goshen, to George M. (Susan) Haas of Millersburg and Susan (Larry) Clayton of Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Haas graduated from Fairfield High School and had worked in the RV Industry, last at Godfrey Marine in Elkhart. He enjoyed motorcycles, radio controlled cars, and building model cars. He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Jennifer (Michael) Jefferson of Bristol, Indiana, Amanda Haas of Fort Worth, Texas, and Megan Haas of Constantine, Michigan; two brothers, Christopher (Sarah Wright) Haas of Elkhart and Jonathan (Julie) Haas of Greeley, Colorado; four step-sisters, Jade (Rob) Akemon of Elkhart, Michele Clayton of Texas, Krystal (Gene) Tabor and Leanna (Jason) Miday, both of Texas; and a step-brother, Jeffery Clayton of Texas. Also surviving are grandfather, George R. Haas of Millersburg and step-grandmother Wanda Clayton of Texas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Haas; and grandparents, Elva B. Haas, Joseph and Betty Burrell and Mildred Johnston. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 10 at the funeral home A Wednesday, June 11, 2008, funeral service is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Kim Huffman of the Goshen Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s of the Cross Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
