Genevieve "Jenny" Luczka

Genevieve "Jenny" Luczka, 96, of Elkhart, died early Thursday morning, November 10, 2011, at Woodland Manor. She was born February 2, 1915, in Utica, New York, to the late Stanley and Catherine (Wajda) Babicz. She is survived by a son, John (Phyllis Flood) Luczka Jr. of Frankfort, New York; a daughter, Christine (John) Huber of Goshen; seven grandchildren, Stacy, Dana, Scott, Evanne, Deanna, Jennifer, and John III; and two great-grandchildren, Kinley and Tyler. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Palsyn, Gladys Horan and Stephanie "Sadie" Liddy. A homemaker, Jenny moved to the area in May 2001, coming from Rome, NewYork. She attended Bethel Assembly of God Church, Elkhart. There will be no local services. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A graveside service will be conducted at St. Stanislaus and St. Casimir Cemetery, Whitesboro, New York.
