Gene Neumann

Herman “Gene” Neumann, 90, of Goshen died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born September 25, 1930 in Lilbourn, Missouri to Herman and Gladys (Krebs) Neumann.

On November 10, 1961 he married Donna B. Gerkin. She died October 22, 2019.

Survivors include four daughters, Nila Fogle of Tennessee, Vicky Perry of Sturgis, Michigan, Donna J. Neumann and Darlene (David) Pinion, both of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Wallace “Wally” Neumann.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Dale Neumann.

Gene was a loving man who enjoyed being part of the church, playing games, and golfing. He was an avid classic car enthusiast.

Gene and Donna enjoyed many years traveling the United States in their motor home.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Lenny Krebs will officiate.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
