Gary L. Hambrice, 68, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at home.

He was born September 1, 1953, in New Orleans, to Truman and Constance (Vincellette) Hambrice.

Gary is survived by his wife, Gaye; three children, Lon (Sheila) Hambrice of Lebanon, Ohio, Genean (Kyle) Hess, West Lafayette and Shayn (Courtney) Hambrice of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren, Eli, Joel, Vincellette, Brayleigh and Hudson; and two siblings, Sherry (Carl) Miquet of Slidell, Louisiana and Scott Hambrice of Mississippi.

He loved his children, his grandchildren and his dogs.  He worked as a welder and union boilermaker for more than 40 years.

A veteran of the US Marine Corps, Gary was a motorcycle enthusiast; a pilot; a lover of 70’s music and enjoyed working with his hands.

Friends may call Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A private military graveside service will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County.
