Gary George Goble, 68, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, April 18, 2009, at his home. He had been ill for 15 years with COPD. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa on August 16, 1940, to Garland and Viola Marie (Chamberlain) Goble. He married Janice Irene Goss in Warsaw in 1960. She died April 10, 1980. He then married Rosie Reves in Benton on June 22, 1980. She survives. An area resident since 1958, Mr. Goble worked as a driver with Archer Van and Coach for 13 years, retiring in 2003. He drove cross country for the RV industry for 35 years. He was a member of Goshen Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, horseback riding, flea markets and garage sales. Mr. Goble is survived by his wife, Rosie; four sons, Brad (Rose) Goble, Robert (Crystal) Goble, James (Patricia) Double, and Mike Double, all of Goshen; three daughters, Susie (Kenny) Lambuth, Laurie Goble, and Judy (Ray) Moles, all of Goshen; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Tilman (Shirley) Goble of Indiana Lakes, Michigan, and Benjamin (Joyce) Goble, Henry (Kathy) Goble, and Leonard (Kay) Goble, all of Warsaw; and a sister, Garlene (Ervin) Bolt of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice; a daughter, Alma Reves; a son, Dean Reves; and two brothers, Garland and John Goble. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 20, at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Roberts of the Goshen United Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Goshen United Pentecostal Church.
